Claude
Claude Code loads skills from ~/.claude/skills/ (all projects) or .claude/skills/ (one project):
git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/browser-use/browser-use.git
cp -r browser-use/skills/x402 ~/.claude/skills/x402 # personal, or .claude/skills in a projectIn the Claude apps, zip the x402 folder and upload it under Customize > Skills > + > Upload a skill (code execution must be on).
ChatGPT / Codex
Codex reads skills from .agents/skills/ in a repo or ~/.agents/skills/ for every project:
git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/browser-use/browser-use.git
cp -r browser-use/skills/x402 .agents/skills/x402 # repo; ~/.agents/skills for all projectsStandalone skills also load in the ChatGPT desktop app.
Cursor
Cursor loads skills from .cursor/skills/ (or ~/.cursor/skills/) and also reads .claude/skills/:
git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/browser-use/browser-use.git
cp -r browser-use/skills/x402 .cursor/skills/x402 # project; ~/.cursor/skills for all projectsSource (checked Oct 7, 2026): code.claude.com/docs/en/skills (opens in a new tab), support.claude.com/en/articles/12512180-using-skills-in-claude (opens in a new tab), learn.chatgpt.com/docs/build-skills (opens in a new tab), cursor.com/docs/context/skills (opens in a new tab)
What this skill does
Set up Browser Use Cloud payments with x402 — pay per request from a crypto wallet (USDC on Base mainnet), no signup or API key. Two setups it works out up front — "just use it" (set up a wallet so you or Claude Code can run cloud browser tasks paid from the wallet — Claude writes and runs throwaway scripts, nothing touches your codebase) or "build it in" (install the SDK and write the key + code into your project). Walks through wallet setup, funding, .env, and a ~$1 test run.
When it triggers
- Use Cloud payments with x402 — pay per request from a crypto wallet (USDC on Base mainnet), no signup or API key.
- Use when the user asks about x402, pay-per-use, USDC payments, or wants Browser Use Cloud without an API key.
- "just use it"
- "build it in"
