Add this skill

Claude

Claude Code loads skills from ~/.claude/skills/ (all projects) or .claude/skills/ (one project):

git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/amElnagdy/delegate-skills.git
cp -r delegate-skills/skills/opencode-delegate ~/.claude/skills/opencode-delegate # personal, or .claude/skills in a project

In the Claude apps, zip the opencode-delegate folder and upload it under Customize > Skills > + > Upload a skill (code execution must be on).

ChatGPT / Codex

Codex reads skills from .agents/skills/ in a repo or ~/.agents/skills/ for every project:

git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/amElnagdy/delegate-skills.git
cp -r delegate-skills/skills/opencode-delegate .agents/skills/opencode-delegate # repo; ~/.agents/skills for all projects

Standalone skills also load in the ChatGPT desktop app.

Cursor

Cursor loads skills from .cursor/skills/ (or ~/.cursor/skills/) and also reads .claude/skills/:

git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/amElnagdy/delegate-skills.git
cp -r delegate-skills/skills/opencode-delegate .cursor/skills/opencode-delegate # project; ~/.cursor/skills for all projects

What this skill does

Delegate a coding task to the OpenCode CLI as a background implementer, then review its diff and land it yourself. Use this whenever the user wants to hand implementation work to OpenCode — phrasings like "have OpenCode do X", "delegate this to OpenCode", "run it through OpenCode", or "use OpenCode to implement/fix/refactor" — or wants to run a queue of coding tasks through OpenCode while staying the reviewer. Prefer it when the user will review the diff and commit it themselves.

When it triggers

  • USE for tasks small enough to do inline, or when the user wants the code written directly without delegating.
  • "have OpenCode do X"
  • "delegate this to OpenCode"
  • "run it through OpenCode"
  • "use OpenCode to implement/fix/refactor"
