Add this skill

Claude

Claude Code loads skills from ~/.claude/skills/ (all projects) or .claude/skills/ (one project):

git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/sparklabx/drawio-ai-kit.git
cp -r drawio-ai-kit/skills/drawio-aws ~/.claude/skills/drawio-aws # personal, or .claude/skills in a project

In the Claude apps, zip the drawio-aws folder and upload it under Customize > Skills > + > Upload a skill (code execution must be on).

ChatGPT / Codex

Codex reads skills from .agents/skills/ in a repo or ~/.agents/skills/ for every project:

git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/sparklabx/drawio-ai-kit.git
cp -r drawio-ai-kit/skills/drawio-aws .agents/skills/drawio-aws # repo; ~/.agents/skills for all projects

Standalone skills also load in the ChatGPT desktop app.

Cursor

Cursor loads skills from .cursor/skills/ (or ~/.cursor/skills/) and also reads .claude/skills/:

git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/sparklabx/drawio-ai-kit.git
cp -r drawio-ai-kit/skills/drawio-aws .cursor/skills/drawio-aws # project; ~/.cursor/skills for all projects

What this skill does

Use when the user asks for an AWS architecture diagram — VPC/networking, event-driven, landing zone, multi-AZ, serverless pipeline, or any diagram built with AWS service icons. Builds with the declarative layout engine using ground-truth mxgraph.aws4 stencils, validates (stencils/colors/nesting/geometry), runs a render-based vision self-check. Default output is .drawio; PNG/SVG only on request. Produce correct AWS architecture diagrams in draw.io.

When it triggers

  • Use when the user asks for an AWS architecture diagram — VPC/networking, event-driven, landing zone, multi-AZ, serverless pipeline, or any diagram built with AWS service icons.
