# Plate Playground Template (UI components & kits)

> Plate Playground Template is a free, open-source UI component library built with React, Next.js and Tailwind CSS. Plate AI template with React 19, Next 16, Tailwind 4, MCP. It has 240 GitHub stars and is released under the MIT license, and GitHub's Use this template button creates your own copy in one click.

Uploads work in local development. Before enabling production uploads, replace the development check in src/lib/uploadthing.ts with your application's session and permission checks. Add per-user upload limits.
