# flowR (MCP server)

> flowR is an MCP server that adds database tools to AI assistants such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code and Cursor. Static dataflow analysis, program slicing, linting, and dependency extraction for R code. It has 105 GitHub stars, is released under the GPL-3.0 license and runs locally with npx -y @eagleoutice/flowr-mcp.
