# Deja Vu (MCP server)

> Deja Vu is an MCP server that adds developer tools to AI assistants such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code and Cursor. deja-vu: local memory over the session histories of thirty-eight coding agents. It has 1,139 GitHub stars, is released under the MIT license and runs locally with npx -y @vshulcz/deja-vu.

Your coding agents stop re-debugging what you already fixed. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and 35 more agents already save every session to disk. deja indexes all of it, months back, and hands the part that matters to whichever agent is working now.
