# Simplewall (open-source security and privacy app)

> Simplewall is a free, open-source security and privacy app for Windows. Simple tool to configure Windows Filtering Platform (WFP) which can configure network activity on your computer. It has 9,111 GitHub stars and is released under the GPL-3.0 license, and people use it instead of GlassWire.

The lightweight application is less than a megabyte, and it is compatible with Windows 7 SP1 and higher operating systems. You can download either the installer or portable version. For correct working you are require administrator rights.
