# Openfilm (open-source AI desktop app)

> Openfilm is a free, open-source AI desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux. The open source AI video agent: turns any coding agent into a video agent, with an editor to change anything it makes. It has 3,254 GitHub stars and is released under the MIT license.

Ask Codex, Claude Code or any coding agent to make a film. It writes the film as web pages, and Studio, a local editor that runs in your browser, shows it taking shape. Then change anything you like, by hand or by asking.
