# Lem (open-source developer tool)

> Lem is a free, open-source developer tool for Windows, macOS and Linux. General-purpose editor/IDE with high expansibility in Common Lisp. It has 3,053 GitHub stars and is released under the MIT license. Its source code is on GitHub at lem-project/lem.

After installing lem, you can start developing and extend the editor while it runs. Tested on Ubuntu 24.04 and macOS(apple silicon).
